Technology Tuesday:   

Writing—the final assignment is due on Thursday. *Divide the writing assignment into 3 nights/parts. 1. Draw a detailed illustration about the topic. 2. Add labels and important words to the illustration.  3. Now use the words and labels to write complete sentences about the topic.

Write about the best weekend you ever had.  Why was it so special? Add lots of interesting details.

Once registered, create and add this week’s red words to a spelling list and allow students to complete 2 activities with the red words.)

Reading--read to or with your parents at least 20 minutes. Is the story fiction or nonfiction? How do you know?

Wednesday:

Writing—Complete your narrative writing piece by using your picture and labels (from Tuesday night) to write complete sentences about the topic (see Tuesday).

Math— Draw dimes and pennies to solve and answer the following questions:

John has 72 cents. He wants to buy 2 balls. The ball cost 35 cents each. Does John have enough money to buy the two balls? Show your work

Language Arts- Write a sentence for 2 red words.  Underline the Red Word and use a proper noun in each sentence that names a place.

 Reading--read to or with your parents at least 20 minutes. What major event happened in the beginning of the book?
